What we do
DieticiansWorldwide.com is a global information hub for dietitians, nutritionists, weight-management professionals, associations and the companies that make, distribute and sell nutrition products. We publish:
- Country profiles for 24 countries on the Global Hub: regulators, protected titles, associations, supplement rules, published workforce and market numbers, strengths, opportunities, jobs, suppliers and events.
- An industry outlook for the four markets that carry the profession: dietary supplements, weight management, clinical nutrition and the wellness economy.
- A jobs outlook with growth, pay and openings where they are published, and guides to becoming a dietitian in different countries.
- A supplier directory that maps the nutrition supply chain, from ingredients to the pharmacy shelf.
- An events calendar of congresses and trade shows with dates checked on organiser sites.
- An associations directory of the bodies that shape the field.
- A blog of practical, sourced articles.
Our sister site
Profiles, memberships, the member directory and leads are hosted on DietitiansWorldwide.com. The two sites work as one network: this site informs, the member site connects. Both spellings, dietician and dietitian, are in common use.
Editorial standards
Every number has a source
We publish a statistic only if we have read it on the publisher's own page: a regulator, statistics office, professional association, international organisation, research publisher or event organiser. Each number carries a numbered citation that links to that page, with its publication date. The complete list is on our sources page.
No estimates to fill gaps
If a regulator or association does not publish a figure, we say "not published". We do not estimate, interpolate or borrow numbers from aggregator websites.
Forecasts are labelled as forecasts
Market forecasts come from named research publishers. We show the publisher, base year and forecast year, and we do not average figures from different publishers, because they define markets differently.
Plain, honest language
We write for professionals and for the public in plain English. We avoid hype, we do not make health claims for products, and we separate information from advertising.
Corrections
If you find an error or a newer published figure, tell us. We correct errors promptly and update the citation date.
Not medical advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian, doctor or pharmacist who knows your situation. To find a qualified professional, use the member directory.
Who it is for
- Practitioners comparing practice rules, pay and demand, or planning a move abroad.
- Students choosing a degree and a country.
- Employers and recruiters looking for qualified people.
- Supplement brands, manufacturers, distributors and retailers entering new markets.
- Associations reaching members and partners worldwide.
- The public, looking for trustworthy nutrition professionals.

Our network
DieticiansWorldwide.com is part of a network of health and professional directories, including DoctorsWorldwide.Directory, PharmacistsWorldwide.com, HospitalsWorldwide.Directory, PsychotherapistWorldwide.com, SpasWorldwide.com and MedSpa.Directory. Together they connect health professionals and the public across borders.
Why a global view matters
The nutrition profession is international in a way few others are. Dietitians train in one country and work in another; supplements are formulated, made and sold on three continents; obesity, diabetes and malnutrition are shared problems with local solutions. The International Confederation of Dietetic Associations links 50 national associations representing 200,000 dietitian-nutritionists[1], and the World Health Organization counts 2.6 billion adults living with overweight[2]. A hub that sets the countries side by side, with the same standard of evidence for each, helps everyone make better decisions.
How the site is built
The site is fast, mobile-first and installable as an app on phones and computers; look for "Get the app" in the hero or "Install the app" in the footer. Pages use structured data so that search engines and AI assistants can understand and cite them correctly, and we publish an llms.txt file that lists every page.
Contact
Questions, corrections, partnership and advertising enquiries: see the contact page. Quick answers live on the FAQ page. Our free nutrition tools and the blog put the data to work, and the monthly newsletter brings new country figures and congress dates to your inbox.
