What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find the site. It uses cookies and collects device, browser, approximate location and page-view data. It does not tell us who you are.
- Live chat. If you use the chat widget, provided by tawk.to, the details you type, such as your name, email and message, are stored by the chat provider so we can reply.
- Session bookings. When you request a session we collect your name, phone, email, city, country, preferred times, time zone, your notes and any calculator or quiz result you choose to attach. We use them only to arrange your session and share them only with the professional who will see you. Requests are stored on our own server, outside the public website.
- Payments. Session fees are paid through Stripe on a secure Stripe payment page. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe tells us the amount paid, the currency, your email and your booking reference. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment.
- Calculators and quizzes. The free tools run in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us unless you attach a result to a booking.
- Web app. Installing the site as an app stores a small preference in your browser so that the install prompt is not shown again for seven days. Nothing is sent to us.
How we use it
To run and improve the site, answer enquiries and measure interest in content. We do not sell personal data.
Memberships
Profiles, payments and member accounts are handled on DietitiansWorldwide.com under its own privacy policy.
Newsletter
If you subscribe on the newsletter page, in the footer, or by ticking the box on the booking form, we store your email address, the country you typed, where you signed up and the date. We send one email asking you to confirm, and you are added only after you click that link (double opt-in). We record the confirmation date as proof of consent. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. The list is kept on our own server, outside the public website, is used only to send this newsletter, and is never sold or shared. To have your record deleted entirely, email [email protected].
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use browser privacy modes, or ask us to delete your chat records or booking details by emailing [email protected].
